Book ConsultinG & Writing
I work with authors (and aspiring authors) to navigate the book-writing and publishing process.
The impetus for writing a book may be a specific business initiative, a broader, comprehensive corporate message, or a more personal passion.
When speaking with writers about potential book projects, we take my proprietary approach:
Goal, Audience, Message, Medium, and Action (GAMMA).

What is your GOAL in writing the book? It is to get more clients, to make money, to establish credibility?
Who is your intended AUDIENCE? Is it your peers, people/companies in a specific industry, situation, or point in their life or business evolution?
What MESSAGE are you trying to get across? Is it advisory, cautionary, informative, inspirational?
Is a book the best MEDIUM? If so, is it a book published by a traditional publishing house? Might an eBook better suit your needs? Or is it a series of targeted thought leadership pieces?
What ACTION do you want people to take or will they be able to take after reading your work?

A book may not be the best path. But by working with clients in answering these questions, we can determine if that is the case. If the answer is yes, we can move on to developing a proposal—an essential step in the book-writing process.
If a book isn’t the best choice, we can work together to create content that makes sense for your and your goals.
